Monster Media's Windows `95 CD-ROM File Manager
You MUST install the support files BEFORE you can use the CD-ROM viewer. The
setup file is in the \MVIEW\SETUP directory. use the Windows run command and
type:
x:\MVIEW\SETUP.EXE
^
|..........................Your CD-ROM Drive Letter
The setup file will install the support files to your Windows System Directory.
Most of these files will probably be there, so they won't actually be copied,
but you probably will need 4 or 5 of them. It will also create an UNINSTALL
file you can use if you'd like to clear out the Monster Media CD-ROM File
Manager's support files.
You can run the viewer right off of the CD-ROM in the directory MVIEW. There
are two versions of the Monster Media CD-ROM File Manager:
MVIEWS.EXE .... For use with systems using SMALL fonts.
MVIEWL.EXE .... For use with systems using LARGE fonts.
To find out what size font you are using by right-clicking on an empty area
of your Win 95 desktop. Click on PROPERTIES. Choose the Tab SETTING and look
for the font size dialog. It will either be SMALL or LARGE fonts.
This was a last minute programming job... we will have both versions unified
into one program next time.
You will achieve best results by using this viewer in either 800x600 or
1024x768 mode. We are not supporting 640x480 at this time because of the
anount of information that must be presented on the screen. 640x480 places
severe restrictions on this.
A Windows 3.1 version will be included on Monster Media 14.
Thanks for your support!
